David and I recently traveled to Savannah, Georgia with friends and family for the Andree Family Reunion. One of the fun places to go is the Savannah Riverfront. While we were there replicas of two of Columbus’s ships were open for self guided tours. The Nina was built by hand without power tools. The Pinta is slightly larger than scale, and was built in Brazil. We spent hours there, shopping and enjoying those historical old ships.

We stayed in a house built in 1896. Living in the historical section of the city for a week made for an interesting time. All of the tourist trollies came by and talked about our neighborhood.  David, and the other David, liked to sit on the front porch and wave at the passing tourists.

David and I got this picture taken to show off the lovely lattice work around the front porch.

The flowers were beautiful.

Hilton Head Island is only a few miles away, so we spent an afternoon soaking up the sun and picking up sea shells.
